‘Chimera’ is a group of Textile Artists founded in 2010, that meets fortnightly throughout the year.
Chimera+ is made up of five previous Helfa Gelf artists, who have shown their work as Eurgain Studio in recent years:- Alison Corfield, Jane Jenkins, Moya McCarthy, Pauline Foster and Ronnie White.They are being joined by 3 additional Chimera artists:- Alison Reynolds, Mary Sotheran and Susanne Owen.
Members of Chimera+ make a wide range of textile art using machine and hand embroidery, both wet and dry felting, mixed media work, hand dyeing and upcycling.
They will be demonstrating and sharing a wide range of techniques throughout the open studio weekend.
They will be selling a wide range of textile items including pictures and jewellery.
Directions to studio
Easy to find, on the main road through Trelawnyd. From the east, take Junction 31 off the A55 and follow signs for Dyserth.
Parking on the village side streets and a small car park approximately 100 metres from the venue.
