Threads are connections, weaving together fabric, people, culture and stitching memories into history.  We use threads to create  and link one thing to another and we struggle when they unravel.  I explore themes of connection and loss through abstract landscape forms and found objects that are a direct response to the imprints of weather, time and human activity on the landscape

Trained in Fine Art at the Slade School of Art I have worked in many media including film, photography, printmaking and installation.  Current work utilises the natural processes of colouring, decay and disintegration together with drawn marks made with pigment, weave and stitch.  Selected for the Luciano Bennetton Collections ‘Imago Mundi. Contemporary Artists from Wales 2017’ and awarded Second Prize in the Galeri Caernarfon Agored / Open 2015.  I have also been a recipient of the Arts Council of Great Britain New Film and Video Artist Prize.
