- Print Making,
We've been involved in the Welsh arts scene for the last 20 years, as exhibiting artists, workshop facilitators and educators. We've set up a shared studio to display our work and to use as a creative space during the Helfa Gelf open studios.
Directions to studio
From Llanrwst town square take the A470 North towards Llandudno. Immediately after the zebra crossing take the left turning. We are halfway down this road on the left, in a grey stone house with bay windows, look out for the signs.

Drawing has always been integral to my work and I enjoy exploring and manipulating line and form in a variety of mediums from linocuts, oil paintings to large scale graphite drawings. I studied printmaking at Cardiff University.
I am inspired by my childhood on a working farm in North Wales. The farmhouse and all it’s ‘nic-nacs’ passed down from generation to generation, changing relationships between family and friends and the surrounding landscape. I am very drawn to the quiet unnoticed things that happen around me, simple and honest moments that I wish to capture and share with others.
I am a textile artist, having studied embroidery at Manchester University. I use traditional techniques, hand stitching, machine embroidery and mixed media. The pieces are not functional in themselves but are based on functional items, aprons, tablecloths, garments of clothing.
My rural upbringing is a strong theme in my work, the landscape, as well as the traditions of the Welsh domestic life and the Welsh language.
Chloe Augusta Needham
I work in a variety of mediums from traditional watercolour paintings, small intricate paper cuts to large scale paper based installations. I am interested in manipulating materials beyond their traditional confines, and recently I've been creating works using stencilling processes, exploring ideas of collections, gatherings and concentrations. More specifically my work is inspired by these ideas in our natural environment from flocks of birds and murmurations to flower meadows. I am a multi-disciplinary visual artist with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art from Norwich School of Art and Design.
