Established in 1987, Iain Ashcroft Furniture produces handcrafted fine furniture in his workshop in the Vale of Llangollen and has a wide range of satisfied clients.
Iain makes both contemporary and traditional furniture to a very high standard with attention to every detail. He has designed and made furniture for a wide range of customers, private, business, public and ecclesiastical using a variety of timber and veneers which he personally selects from across the country.
What to expect:
Iain will open his workshop and design studio and will be doing a variety of demonstrations including hand veneering, wood turning and gilding and answering and queries. There will be a selection of gifts to buy to take away on the day.
Turn off the A539 and go up the drive opposite the sign for the Bryn Howel Hotel and bus shelter, pass 2 static caravans on your right and go through the open wooden gate, parking is on the left infront of the open barn.
Either before or after you have visited Iain workshop, the nearest pub is the Sun Trevor on Sunbank which offers a wide range of food and fine beers then take a walk along the canal.
