Celf Aran Arts is a co-operative Gallery featuring artwork and hand-crafted items made by local artisans. There are 16 artists exhibiting in Celf Aran Arts in a variety of media including painting, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, slate, glass, photography, screen-printing, leatherwork and woodwork. The Gallery is run by the makers equally, as they pool their knowledge, share what works well and support each other.  

Directions to studio

Celf Aran Arts is located under the arches in Tŷ Siamas, Neuadd Idris, Eldon Square, Dolgellau.  Dolgellau is a market town in the south of the Snowdonia National Park and at the foot of Cader Idris.  Dolgellau can be reached from the North West and from the South via the A470 or from the North East via Bala on the A494.  The nearest train stations are at Machynlleth or the Cambrian Coastline stops of Fairbourne or Morfa Mawddach.  There are many buses connecting Dolgellau coming from e.g. Bala, Aberystwyth, Bangor, Porthmadog, Wrexham.  Buses stop directly in front of the Gallery.

Celf Aran Arts was created to bring together artists and craftspeople, mainly from the local area, to share a collective exhibition space.  Established in 2014, Celf Aran Arts is a co-operative with 16 permanent members who share the work of running the Gallery and inspire and support each other at the same time.  The members are:
