I am a ceramic designer-maker living and working in Coedpoeth, North Wales.

My decorative work is inspired by our joy of celebration. Celebrating annual events such as Valentines, Easter and Christmas, and special moments within our lives and recording them in clay.

My coastal themed work takes inspiration from the shoreline; pebbles, stones, and shells, beach combing and family holidays.

I use a range of clays from smooth white, blue and black clays to heavily frogged textured clays. Texture is very important in my work, I want it to be tactile, I want you to touch it, cherish it just like that found pebble that can mean so much.

I am a part of the Wrexham Cluster group exhibition at Y Caban, Plas Newydd, Llangollen. 2nd - 28th September, 10.30 - 5pm (closed Tuesdays). Private view Sunday 3rd September 2-4pm. Please do come along! Ceri
