Description

My goal is to make bold energetic paintings that give the viewer a relationship to the subject matter and the feel of the material. The ultimate objective of my work is to bring pleasure to the viewer. In a time of global and financial uncertainty, it is now more important than ever to give people the opportunity to stop, look, and smile. Having said that, some of my work does provoke a subtle feeling of sadness, impending darkness or violence as a response to the world around us.

My studio is at the side of my house and is easily accessible, close to the High School in Central Prestatyn.

I am a realist expressionist painter living and working on the coast of North Wales. I make painting that are about life, magic and the aesthetic quality of paint.
