ffowndri is a not-for-profit open access art and crafts studio in North Wales.
ffowndri aims to promote and educate others in the history of heritage arts and crafts including letterpress, linocut printing, bookbinding, book arts, paper marbling and calligraphy; and to inspire others to experience and experiment with them by providing flexible and varied opportunities to visit and use the studio.
What to expect:
Spread over 1500sqft the studio is a vibrant and creative space that needs to be seen to be believed.
On your visit we will give you a tour around the studio and we will provide demonstrations in some of the arts and crafts we offer.
The studio is open 14/15 and 21/22 September for Helfa Gelf (11.00am-4.00pm)
Our studio is on the Talargoch Trading Estate on Meliden Road which runs between Rhuddlan and Prestatyn.
The nearest train station is Prestatyn which is a short bus journey away.

We recommend after visiting the studio you pop into Dyserth to see the beautiful waterfall which has a picnic area and fantastic walks or nip into the New Inn for a bite to eat.
