I am a designer and maker of contemporary jewellery, working in silver and gold. My work is organic and sculptural. I use semi-precious stones as well as simple found objects such as pebbles or sea glass which are transformed into elegant new forms.
I also breathe life into old unworn jewellery by using the original stones or gold to create a contemporary new design. Click here for gallery of 'New from Old'.
I teach jewellery making courses for beginners. Click here for course details.
What to expect:
We are collective of artists working in textiles, silver & ceramics. Wernog Wood is a work in progress so please don't come in your best shoes, as access to the exhibition may be a bit muddy. It is well worth a visit to see the development of this idyllic woodland venue which is being set up to run craft courses.
From Mold, take A494 towards Ruthin. Wernog Wood is on the left just ¼ mile below Clwyd Gate. The drive is not easy to see & is a tight bend back on itself. We suggest you go into the layby just after our turning, come back up the hill and tackle it from there.
From Ruthin, go through Llanbedr DC. Wernog Wood is ½ mile after the 2nd set of bends, on the right just after the 2nd layby.
Why not walk to Wernog Wood on the footpath from Ruthin to Clwyd Gate. Wernog Wood is located just 200m from Offa's Dyke, and there are fabulous walks in every direction. Enjoy coffee & cake in Ruthin Craft Centre. Click here for other local activities.
