Artists are invited to submit works for exhibition at Oriel Plas Brondanw, in September 2018
Oriel Brondanw Exhibition
Helfa Gelf is delighted to announce the second year of an exciting collaboration with Oriel Brondanw, Llanfrothen.
Oriel Brondanw is a gallery and cultural centre established in late 2016 at the Plas Brondanw house. It hosts exhibitions, residencies and workshops by new and recognised artists as well as literary, music and other art oriented events.
Oriel Brondanw is run by the Ymddiriedolaeth Susan Williams-Ellis Foundation. Susan Williams-Ellis (1918-2007) is probably best known as the instigator of Portmeirion Pottery but she was a multisided artist as well. Plas Brondanw is Susan's ancestral home and she was the eldest daughter of Clough and Amabel Williams-Ellis.
Helfa Gelf artists are invited to submit work for an exhibition at Oriel Brondanw showing from 9th September to 7th October 2018. Entries are welcome in the following mediums: painting, pottery, textiles, sculpture (an outdoor space is available), film, photography, drawing, mixed media and print.
