Helfa Gelf

Intro from New Co-Ordinator

Published: 31.05.2018

I’d like to introduce myself as the new Co-Ordinator for Helfa Gelf for 2018.

I am a practicing artist who has participated in Helfa Gelf myself and also work as a freelance project manager - so I hope these will help me to make a genuine contribution to the ongoing success of Helfa Gelf.

Just 10 days left to register for this years Open Studios event!

Enjoy year round benefits of the Helfa Gelf programme of training, exhibitions, residencies and a new emphasis on promoting our artists online!

It's looking like an exciting year. We already have the revamped website, a packed schedule of brilliant training and some very exciting exhibition and residency opportunities with more still to be confirmed including a possible international collaboration. This year Helfa Gelf has also departed from its production of the Open Studios brochure and instead will be directing greater time and resource into a focus on digital or online marketing for our artists and connecting more widely to more online creative Industries platforms. I think this is an important step into the future.

I would like you all to feel welcome to contact me regarding Helfa Gelf - whether as artists, studio visitors or arts professionals. Please note that I work part-time (usually Mondays and Thursdays)

I shall look forward to hearing from and meeting many of you over the year ahead!

Warm wishes

Rachel Rosen
